Stage 1 State Significant Development approval

Following extensive community and government agency consultation on the Tweed Valley Hospital, the project’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), the overall hospital concept, and consent to undertake early works on the site, has been approved.

The NSW Government approved the Stage 1 State Significant Development (SSD) application for the new Tweed Valley Hospital on 11 June 2019. The determination is available on the Department of Planning and Environment website.
