Join the community reference panel

The Community Reference Panel for the Tweed Valley Hospital project provides hospital users and the broader community the opportunity to shape the NSW Government’s $582 million investment in health in the Tweed-Byron region.
 

Who can join ?

We welcome all Tweed-Byron community members to participate in the Community Reference Panel.

Your experience, whether as a patient, a carer, a family member, or in a clinical capacity, will bring a real life perspective to the planning and design of the new hospital, ensuring that it best meets the needs of the local community.
 

What’s involved?

Panel members will be invited to participate in a range of workshops, focus groups and Project Users Groups to support the clinical and physical design of the new hospital and broader health and education campus.

Panel members are encouraged to participate at a level that suits their personal circumstances. Some activities, such as being a member of a Project User Group, will require a higher commitment of time compared to general Panel membership.
