Community pop-ups

During the public exhibition period for the Stage 2 State Significant Development application, the project team visited locations throughout the Tweed-Byron region to provide the community with information.

Over 650 community members stopped by the stands to find out more about the new hospital and the planning approval process and how they could have their say.

This included stalls at a range of markets across the Tweed-Byron region as well as ‘pop-up’ stands at The Tweed Hospital, Murwillumbah District Hospital and Byron Central Hospital.
