A sod-turning ceremony has marked the countdown to the start of construction on the state-of-the art Tweed Valley Hospital. Health Infrastructure’s Chief Executive and project team joined Northern NSW Local Health District, hospital staff and political representatives to celebrate the major milestone.
Following extensive community and government agency consultation on the Tweed Valley Hospital, the project’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), the overall hospital concept, and consent to undertake early works on the site, has been approved. The NSW Government approved the Stage 1 State Significant Development (SSD) application for the new Tweed Valley Hospital last week.
